James L. Leffler, of Milan, passed away Sunday August 26, 2018 at UPH Trinity, Rock Island. A gathering to celebrate James life will be Saturday from 2:00-4:00pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Memorials may be left to GiGi's Playhouse Quad Cities. James was born on February 11, 1961 in Rock Island, the son of Julius R. and Mary C. (Stafford) Leffler. Mr. Leffler had been employed at McAdam and Associates, Rock Island from 1980 to 2013. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include his children, Eric James, Scott (Marcia) Coyne, Shari Coyne, Lisa (Pat) Carroll, Danita (Steven) Appel, Shana (Keith) Fuller; grandchildren, Sarah, Andrea, Ashley Coyne, Jenna and Connor Carroll, Cody and Drew Vandewoestyne, Hunter Dehaven, Mason Hedburg, Lena and Jesse Whited; great grandchildren, Anthony and Cole Higgins, Braelynn Cather, Sophia Vandewoestyne, Kaiden Vandewoestyne and Jayce Richardson; brothers, Bob, Randy, Ed, Bill and Rod Leffler; sister, Pam Waugaman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Leffler in 2016; his father, Julius and nephew, J.R.
