James S. Prester, 65, of Rock Island, passed away on Monday May 11, 2015 at Unity Point Health-Trinity, Rock Island.
Per James wishes there will be no visitation or services. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is assisting the family.
James Steven Prester was born on October 26, 1949 in Rock Island, the son of John S. and Phyllis Chambers Prester. He graduated from Rock Island High School in 1968. Later graduating from Palmer Junior College with a associates in Communication.
He was employed by the family owned business, Old Reliable Roofing.
Jim is survived by his father; nephew, John M. Prester; niece, Holly Prester Castens; sister in law, Mary Prester-Stout and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, John N. Prester.
