James R. Seefeldt, Jr., 69, of Rock Island passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015 at his home. No funeral services will be scheduled. Burial will take place in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made in care of his family.

James Robert Seefeldt, Jr. was born on June 5, 1945 in Rock Island, the son of James R. Seefeldt, Sr. and Margie D. McCoy Seefeldt. James worked at John Deere for 30 years as an assembler, retiring in 1994. He was a die-hard Green Bay Packer and St. Louis Cardinal Fan. He very much enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Deborah (Stephen) Jones, Appleton, Wis. and Jeff Seefeldt, Rock Island and also his grandchildren, Sarah Jones, Eric Jones and Brayden Seefeldt.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sharon Leland and Judy Seefeldt.

James' children would like to thank his special niece, Susie, for the care and support she provided in his final days.
