Jan M. Burkhead, 67, of Rock Island passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Services will be at 3:00 pm Sunday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be left in care of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Jan was born on March 11, 1954 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, a daughter of Edward and Jane (O'Conner) SantAmour. She married Daniel Burkhead in 1980. Jan worked as a florist for Lamps Flower Shop in Rock Island for 25 years. She enjoyed shopping, flowers and taking care of her house plants.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Daniel, Rock Island; sons, Zach Burkhead, Geneseo and Sam (Jorie) Burkhead, Rock Island; grandchildren, Kayden, Grayson and Addison; and siblings, Kay (Mark) Schumacher, Green Bay, WI, Sarah (Louis) Masciopinto, Sarasota, FL, Michelle (Mike) Montford, Moline and John (Janeen) SantAmour, Rock Island.
