Hotze, Jane A. (nee Hollingsworth), 73, formerly of St.Louis, passed away on April 9 in St. Louis, Mo.

Loving wife of the late E. Bent Hotze; dear sister of Julie (A. Craig) Spitzfaden; dear aunt of Andrew C. (Betty) Spitzfaden, M.D., and Jill S. (John) Meyer; dear great-aunt of Annie & Lucy Meyer and Edie Spitzfaden.

Jane was born in Davenport, Iowa, and grew up in Rock Island, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin and later earned master's degrees from Northwestern University and St. Louis University. During her long business career, she held several corporate marketing positions including marketing director at BJC Health Systems in St.Louis and Via Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. She was also a healthcare marketing consultant. She loved her horses and farm located near Hermann, Missouri.

Funeral service will be Saturday, April 18, 10 a.m. at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island, Illinois 61201. Interment Chippiannock Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
