Janet E. Likely, 91, of Milan, passed away Thusday, March 23, 2017 at Bickford Senior Living, Davenport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan.  Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan with a recitation of the rosary at 3:30 pm.  Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery, Viola.   Memorials may be made to the family to be disbursed at a later date.

Janet was born on July 16, 1925 in New Boston, IL, the daughter of Charles and Florence (Bauguess) Moseley.  She married John Likely on December 22, 1947 in Illinois.  She worked as a secretary at the Carpenters Local Union #166 for 11 years and at Dohrn Transfer for 24 years.  She enjoyed bowling in the senior bowling league, camping club, birthday club, and attending rehab/excercise class at the Pepsico center on Augustana College campus.

Janet is survived by her son, Thomas (Karol) Likely, Bettendorf; granddaughters, Kendra Likely, Boston, MA and Courtney Likely, Bettendorf; great grandson, Jameson Rankin; and brothers, Curtis (Beverly) Moseley, Harperwoods, MI and Cletus (Sandy) Moseley, Davenport.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings, Charlotte Doonan, Marcella Malone, Charles "Bud" Moseley, Mary Johnson, and Macy Moseley.
