Janet Tedders, 59, of Geneseo passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at her home. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and private services will be held. Memorials may be made in care of Janet's daughter, Christina. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Janet Tedders was born on January 12, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Roy L. and Jeannette (Galarneau) Tedders. Janet was a loving mother who devoted her life to making endless possibilities available to her daughter even when she only had a little to give; has left this earth too soon.

She is survived by her only daughter, Christina Felkins; siblings, Robert M. Tedders, Sr., Catherine (Russell) Weston, Laurette Tedders, Brenda Tedders, Roger Tedders, Edward (Carol) Tedders, Jacqueline Buck, and Renee (Hubert) Hermann, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She has now found the peace and eternal happiness that she has searched for.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
