Janice Dusenberry, 76, of Kingsland, Ga., formerly of Rock Island, passed away Monday July 16, 2018 in Kinglsand.

A memorial visitation and celebration of Janice's life will be 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 28th, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 – 7th Ave., Rock Island, with Inurnment following at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.

Janice was born May 29, 1942 in Fountain City, Wisc., a daughter of Ralph and Caroline Kiel Huston. She married David L. Dusenberry on August 12, 1961 in New Boston, Ill. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2011.

Janice retired from the Rock Island Arsenal following 25 years of service.

Surviving are her sons and their spouses, Todd and Sabreena Dusenberry, Ft. Myers, Fla., and Joseph and Amy Dusenberry, Kingsland, Ga.; grandchildren, Terrence, Blake, Megan, Kristen, Chelsey, Ben, Christian and Collin; three great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Lane, New Boston, Ill.; brother, Chet Huston, New Boston Ill.; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Janice was preceded in death by her mother; husband; one son, David S. Dusenberry; four brothers, Eddie, Howard, Robert and Dave Huston; and one sister, Linda Huston Grim.
