Janice E. Reed, 74, of Rock Island, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her home. Private inurnment services will be in the Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family.

Janice was born on March 2, 1947 in Jerseyville, Illinois, a daughter of Clarice Felter and Pearl (Charlton) Felter. She married James A. Reed on November 24, 1967 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2019. Mrs. Reed was a bookkeeper before her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, coffee, and one last Maid-Rite to go!!!

Survivors include her children, Lisa (Eric) Tanner, Arizona, James A. Reed Jr, Rock Island; a grandson, Nicholas Tanner; brother, Keith Felter, Arizona.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James A. Reed Sr.; brother, Terry Felter; and a sister, Maxine "Cena" Felter.
