Jason Lamonte Clemons, 41, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday May 2, 2020 at UPH Trinity, Bettendorf.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Memorials in his name may be directed to the family.

Jason was born on February 2, 1979 in Cairo, IL, the son of Herman Neal and Debra Clemons. He was a graduate of Southern Illinois University and had been employed at FedEx as a mechanic.

He cherished his family, enjoyed working on cars, drawing and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his mother, Debra; father, Herman; girlfriend, Lorraine Figueroa; siblings, Cory (Sandra) Clemons, Brandon (Joyce) Clemons, Ashley Clemons, Bryce Brooks, all of Rock Island; maternal grandparents, Marie Harrell, Rock Island, Virgil Clemons, East Moline; step grandmother, Bonnie Clemons; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jason was preceded in death by his step grandfather, Donald Harrell; nephews, Karmello and Elijah.
