Jeanetta D. Robinson, 78, of Rock Island, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Celebrate Senior Living, Moline. 

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Olivet Baptist Church, Rock Island, with visitation to be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at church. Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left in care of the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family. 

Jeanetta was born on December 16, 1947 in Alabama, a daughter of Corneilus Bendophl and Marzette (Pettway) McCarrell. She retired from the Rock Island Arsenal after serving 33 years as a machine operator. 

Jeanetta was a member of Olivet Baptist Church in Rock Island for over 50 years. Her hobbies included reading, bowling, walking, and cooking. 

Those left to cherish Jeanetta's memory include her children, Damon Robinson (Melinda Harris) and Angela Robinson (Wayne Bumpus); grandchildren, Vionte Griffin, Stephon Scott Morgan, Jhaida Morgan, Danee A. Robinson, Demi Robinson, and Dior Robinson; great-granddaughter, Rhoyaltee Morgan; brothers, Gene Lemoris Pettway, and James Vaughn Pettway; and a host of extended family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Pettway.
