Jeanette M. "Jean" Conwell, 67, of Rock Island passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, Rock Island. Private family services are planned at Rock Island National Cemetery, where inurnment will follow. Memorials may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Jeanette M. Clark was born on February 28, 1947 in Mauston, Wis., the daughter of Lloyd I. and Marie F. Jackson Clark. She married Stephen D. Conwell on June 11, 1988 in Rock Island. Jeanette worked as a Pre-access coordinator at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, Rock Island for 38 years, retiring in 2013. She greatly enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and shopping. Jeanette was a proud to be an organ donor.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Stephen; brothers, Gene (Bonnie) Clark and Gerald (Rita) Clark, of Wis. and her mother-in-law, Petty Conwell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Richard.
