Jeanne Schnier, 90, of Aledo, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 25, 2025.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Reynolds. Private inurnment will be in Illinois City Cemetery. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Jeanne was born on May 15, 1935 in Henry County, IL, a daughter of Clyde and Leah (Taylor) Manning. She married Charles W. Schnier on September 1, 1957 and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1991. Jeanne spend most of her career as a homemaker and loving mother to four daughters. In later years, she worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Aledo Hospital.

Jeanne's hobbies included gardening, tending to her flowers, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was strong in her faith and was a member of the United Methodist Church for her entire life.

Those left to cherish Jeanne's memory include her three daughters, Kelly Jo (Mike) Saddoris, Tracy (Pat) Lamb, and Angie Kent (Mark Jamison); grandchildren, Michael (Ashley), Brandt (Jeni), Jamie, Rachel, Nathan (Meredith), Tanner (Angie), Austin, Morgan, Christopher, Dallas, Zach, Nathan, Bradley, Haley, Joshua (Alex), and Jordan; and several great-grandchildren.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Jodi Loveland; parents; and three sisters, Joyce Sturgeon, Carol Vipond, and Donna Tworek.
