Jeff D. Arduser, 51, of East Moline, while surrounded by his family, entered the Kingdom of God on Monday June 23, 2014. Throughout his courageous battle with cancer, he never lost his faith or his smile, and has now gained his eternal reward of living in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday at South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00pm Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to South Park Presbyterian Church.

Jeff was born on January 19, 1963 in Mt. Pleasant, IA, the son of Larry and Bess (Baker) Arduser. He married Kelly Scherrer on October 10, 1998, and he doted on her for the rest of his life. Mr. Arduser was employed as a salesman at Hiland Toyota in Moline, where he built a substantial following on the basis of trust and honesty.

He enjoyed family get-togethers, traveling with his wife and best friend (Kelly), and serving his Lord in a variety of ways. He enjoyed Door County, Christian concerts, antiquing, his two dogs (aka "girls"), the Denver Broncos, and Fantasy Football. In recent years he led many people to faith and he has now claimed his crown. His legacy of kindness, compassion, empathy, service, and love will live on forever.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly; mother, Bess Arduser, Wayland, IA; daughters, Megan Arduser, Silvis; Samantha (Chad) Jasper, Moline; granddaughter, Savannah and a sister, Cindy (Alan) Swanson, Cambridge. He was preceded in death by his father and infant brother, Kevin.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Porubcin and his staff for their care and kindness, Pastor Kenn and all of those from South Park Presbyterian Church who visited and kept Jeff in their prayers, and God for blessing us with such a wonderful man.
