Jeffrey E. Armstrong, 45, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at his home. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Face masks and social distancing are required. Memorials may be made to the family.

Jeff was born on March 27, 1975 in Silvis, Illinois, a son of William Armstrong and Peggy (Dennis) Alexander. He enjoyed watching football, especially the New York Jets. He also enjoyed playing basketball and watching movies.

Those left to cherish Jeff's memory include his daughter, Cailey Shell; mother and step-father, Peggy and Kevin Alexander; father and step-mother, William and Candy Armstrong; sister, Jessica Armstrong; nephews, Isaac and Savon Armstrong; and step-siblings, Kim Kothenbeutel, Kevin Alexander Jr., Lyndy Havemann, and David Anthony.
