Jeffrey A. Campbell Sr., 55, of Rock Island, died Saturday, May 27, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm with the visitation beginning an hour prior Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Jeffrey was born in Rock Island, Illinois on January 1, 1968, the son of Thomas G. Campbell Sr. and Patricia Senderling Campbell.

Jeffrey worked as a CNA for various nursing facilities and hospitals. He was a loving and caring person who cherished his family. He enjoyed popsicles with his grandchildren, taking his brother's money in screw-your-neighbor, motorcycle rides, sending loved ones millions of instant messages and spending time outdoors. He was an amazing man, his love for his grandchildren was evident in everything he did.

His memory will live on in our hearts forever and we will always remember the joy he brought into our lives.

Jeff was very proud of his son, Jeffrey Jr., and all that he has accomplished thus far in life. He would let everyone know how proud he was of him. It gave him great joy knowing that he had developed into an outstanding young man.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jeffrey (Alejandra) Campbell Jr., East Moline, IL; grandchildren, Annorah and Camila Campbell; and siblings, Scott (Maria) Campbell, North Carolina, Thomas (Karen) Campbell Jr., North Carolina, and Michael (Kimberly) Campbell, Nebraska, also a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, daughter, Monyaé Campbell, and siblings, Patty Ann Campbell, Tammy Miranda, William Campbell, John Campbell, and Steven Campbell.
