Jeffrey W. Custer Jr., 37, of Rock Island, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A celebration of life gathering will be from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Radical Effect Brewerks, 1340 31st St., Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the family to establish a memorial fund at a later date.

Jeffrey was born in Moline on April 23, 1980, a son of Jeffrey W. and Kathleen Karlix Custer.  Jeffrey obtained his associates degree from Blackhawk College, Moline.

Jeffrey loved listening and playing music, record collecting, his cats, going on adventures, cooking and traveling.  Most of all, Jeffrey just loved living life.

Those left to cherish his memory include his best friend, Andrea Moore; mother and step-father, Kathleen and Shawn Duncan, Rock Island; brother, Brian Custer, Canada; paternal grandmother, Mary Custer; and uncle, Christopher Custer.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and an aunt.
