Jeffrey Lee Fainter, 49, of Davenport, died Saturday, September 12, 2020 as the result of an accident.  A funeral service will be 3 pm Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island.  Visitation will be an hour prior to service time at the funeral home.  Cremation rites will follow services.  Inurnment will be private at a later date.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Jeffrey was born in Galesburg, Illinois on March 21, 1971, a son of Jerry and Lynda Wahl Fainter.

Jeffrey was a welder.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting, playing pool and tinkering with just about anything.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Kristan Cooper, Galesburg, Ill. and Alexis Fainter, Clarksville, Tenn.; mother, Lynda Long-Fainter, Rock Island; father, Jerry Fainter, Oquawka, Ill.; Gavin Almaguer, Goodlettsville, Tenn., with whom Jeffrey was a father figure of; and mothers to his daughter's, Becky Cooper, Galesburg, Ill. and Jennifer Scholbrock, Big Rock, Tenn.
