Jeffrey T. Hawotte, 58, Rock Island, IL passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at his home. There will be a visitation from 4-5:00PM with a Memorial Service following at 5:00PM on Friday December 15, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Memorials may be made to the family.

Jeff was born on November 21, 1965 in Moline, IL where he was raised by his parents, William and Karen Kay Hawotte. Following his graduation from Moline High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He was stationed in San Diego, CA and after being honorably discharged, he returned to the Quad Cities.

Jeff worked at a couple local businesses before he opened his own cleaning company. He owned and operated Cleaning by Jeff for over ten years and he will be missed by his staff and clients. Jeff loved spending time outside going on walks and enjoying nature. He loved going to the theater and was a huge movie buff, especially Star Wars. He was an avid fan who had an extensive memorabilia collection.

He is survived by partner, Nathan Derry; his parents, Bill and Kay Hawotte; daughters, Kayla Hawotte and Meagan (Matt) Mull; sister, Leslie Lindeman; and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his sister Lynn Hawotte and two grandchildren.
