Jerald A. McClain, 80, of Rock Island, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at  Silver Cross Nursing Center, Rock Island. Private inurnment services will held at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Jerald was born on November 5, 1941 in Rock Island, a son of Gerald and Mary (Gillman) McClain. He married Donna Pisman on June 23, 1984 in Geneseo. Jerry worked for Alcoa as an industrial engineer, retiring in 1993 after 31 years. He was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Rapids City.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; children, Gregory (Nikki) McClain, Timothy (Carolyn Du) McClain, Colleen (Dan) Cusack, Michelle Hites, Jeffrey (Nina) Hites, Christopher (Michelle) Pisman, Cynthia (Jason) Stephens; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Donna K.; and his twin sister, Judith.

Jerald was preceded in death by his parents.
