Jeremiah J. Kaha, 44, of Moline, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, after a long illness. A memorial gathering for Mr. Kaha will be from 2 to 5 pm, Saturday, February 4th at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. An additional celebration of life service will be held later in the Spring. Memorials may be made to his family.

Jeremiah was born on March 1, 1978, in Moline, a son of John Matthew Kaha and Laura (Frey) Kaha. He married Samantha DeCrane on May 12, 2013, in Long Grove, Iowa. Jeremiah was a thermal equipment operator at Arconic. He was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. Jeremiah enjoyed welding, fencing, battling with his SCA group, games, cooking, hockey and dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Samantha DeCrane Kaha; parents, John M. and Laura Kaha, Rock Island; brothers, Joshua Kaha, Rock Island, Arthur (Brandy) Kaha, Rock Island; sister-in-law, Elisabeth DeCrane, Moline; and several nieces and a nephew.

Jeremiah was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Irita DeCrane.
