IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeremy B
West
July 23, 1987 – April 28, 2023
Jeremy B. West, 35, of Milan, IL gained his angel wings on April 28, 2023.
Jeremy was born on July 23, 1987, in Moline, the son of Patricia J. West and Dennis R. Bedwell. He worked many years as a laborer in the QCA. With a heart of gold, he was deeply loved by those who knew him.
He loved his family, to include his dogs: Lady, Sammy, and Jasmine, more than anything and enjoyed spending time with them. Jeremy had a witty sense of humor and could be quite the charmer, however, his fierce loyalty and protective nature often vexed him, yet ultimately strengthened his relationships due to his deep devotion. His hobbies included many outdoor activities: fishing, camping, gardening, bonfires, & cookouts. He also loved to play his guitar which was inspired by his late father.
Jeremy bravely fought many hard and exhausting battles internally, which he at the end he finally succumbed to. In a mere moment of time, all of our lives have been changed. His memory will live on within those who loved him.
His death has left a gaping hole in our hearts, but the comforting words of the below verse, rings true to his spirit and what he would want for us all:
"He Is Not Gone:
Ease your grief, he is not gone,
For in your heart he lingers on.
His smile, his laugh, his special way,
Will comfort you from day to day.
You'll feel his presence in the breeze,
That dances gently through the trees."
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on his birthday, July 23, 2023, with more details to follow.
Memorials may be made in care of the family or a donation in his honor to QC Paws.
