Jeremy W. Witte, 38, of Milan, died Monday, February 17, 2020 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, Rock Island.  Services will be 4 pm Friday, February 21, 2020 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan.  Visitation will be from 1-4 pm Friday at the funeral home.  Cremation rites will follow services.  Memorials may be made in care of JDRF or QC Paws, Moline.

Jeremy was born in Rock Island, Ill. on January 3, 1982, a son of Kenneth and Geraldine "Geri" Proehl Witte.

Jeremy was an avid Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Browns fan.  He loved fishing, playing guitar and his dogs.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Geri (James) Loete, Milan; father, Kenneth (Brenda) Witte, Rock Island; sister, Keri Witte, Milan; brother, Andrew (Jessy) Witte, Moline; grandmother, Sydney Reiling, Coal Valley; sister-in-law, Jessica (Reed); and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Brandon Witte, grandmother, Tammy Proehl, grandfather, Kenneth Witte, Sr., nephew, Mason Witte and uncle, Greg Proehl.

A special thank you is extended to all those who were a part of Jeremy's medical team throughout the years.  The family cannot thank you all enough.  Jeremy loved you all.
