Jerry "J.D." Morgan, 70, of Milan, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Burial will be in Hite Cemetery, Biggers, AR.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Jerry was born on June 22, 1947 in Biggers, AR, the son of V.L. and Wilma (Venson) Morgan.  He married Evelyn Brandle on December 31, 1978 in Monmouth, IL.  He owned and operated his own trucking business.  Jerry enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, horses, playing pool, listening to country music, and loved all his animals.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Evelyn Morgan; children, Heath (Lynn) Morgan, Kelly Morgan, Josh (Amy) Sanders, Cody (Rich) Morgan-Ruggles, and Jon (Cindy) Kunzle; grandchildren, Heather, Dylan, Drew, Ava, Rilee Gage, Payton, Hudson, and Asher; siblings, Linda Fowler, Tony Morgan, and Tim Morgan; second mom, Carole Maxwell; step-mom, Vada Morgan; special friend Mary; caregiver, Roxie; and his dog, Merle Haggard.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Carroll Morgan and Eldon Maxwell.
