With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jessica A. Johnson, 43, of LeClaire, Iowa, who departed this world on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, Rock Island. Jessica's spirit and vibrant personality touched all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed.

A celebration of Jessica's life will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 1 pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island, Illinois. Family and friends will be warmly welcomed to gather from 12 to 1 pm, where they may share stories, thoughts, and cherished memories.

Jessica was born on July 24, 1981, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the beloved daughter of Mari Mullett and Ernest Conley. After her mother remarried, Jessica was raised in the loving home of Mari and Michael Bright. She led a fulfilling career with Celebration Bell River Cruises in Moline, where her passion for life and dedication to service shone brightly, until her health necessitated her retirement in October 2024.

Jessica's legacy will be carried on by her husband, Kelvin Johnson, and her loving family, which includes her mother and step-father, Mari and Michael Bright of LeClaire; brothers Terry (fiancé, Christie Schwager) Wisely of Dubuque, Iowa, Shaun (Lisa) Bright of O'Fallon, Illinois, and Donald (Michele) Bright of Houston, Texas; two step-brothers; one step-sister; and her cherished auntie, Michele Mullett, along with uncle Mike (Phyllis) Mullett and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
