Jimmy R. Collins, 48, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday September 18, 2024 at his home.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.

Jimmy was born on March 19, 1976 in Moline, the son of Jeffie and Dorothy (Otts) Collins.

He had been employed for several years as a roofer.

Survivors include his siblings, Jeff Collins, Rita Harring, Shelia Romo, James Collins, Susan Collins, Michelle Matya, Belinda Parker; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffie and Dorothy; brother, Ray Collins and sister, Lisa Finch.
