JoAnn DeSchinckel, 78, of Moline, formerly of Rock Island, passed away Monday November 28, 2022 at UPH Trinity, Rock Island.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am, Thursday December 1, 2022 at St. Pius Catholic Church, Rock Island. The family will greet friends from 9:00am to service time at church.  Burial will follow in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be left to St. Pius Catholic Church Food Pantry.

JoAnn was born on March 17, 1944 in Rock Island, the daughter of Julius and Shirley (Downing) DeBruyne. She married Alan DeSchinckel on April 1, 1967 in Rock Island.

Mrs. DeSchinckel was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society and past president of the St. Vincent De Paul Society.

Survivors include her husband, Al; son and daughter in law, Jim (Sandy) DeSchinckel; grandson, Theo DeSchinckel; sister, Bobbie McCallister.
