Joanne Elaine Peschang, 90, of Rock Island, Illinois, died January 17, 2023 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Cremation rites have been accorded per her wishes. A private family ceremony of interment will be held at a later date.

Joanne was born November 21, 1932 in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of George and Meryle Coffield. She was a life-long resident of Rock Island and graduated from Rock Island High School in 1950. Joanne worked for orthodontists Dr. Dan and Dr. John Watkins as their main lab tech for years.

She married Bob Peschang in 1951 in Rock Island who has since passed away in 2010. Joanne and Bob loved to go out dancing in their younger years. Joanne assisted Bob and their son, Kevin, with their TV repair store Blackhawk TV.

As a family, they all enjoyed fishing and cruising on the Mississippi in their boat. Joanne loved animals and enjoyed taking walks and was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include her children, Darcy (Jim) Foster, Kevin (Teresa) Peschang, and Angela (Gus) Kachevas; grandchildren, Joella (John) Lykouretzos, Ryan (Roberta) Foster, Jaime Rowe, Ben (Mary) Foster, Joshua Peschang, Christopher (Julie) Peschang, Brenna Kachevas, Seth Kachevas; 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents; a brother, Bud Coffield; a sister, Luella Marie Coffield.

The family would like to thank the staff at Friendship Manor, and Clarissa C. Cook Hospice for the love and compassion they showed to Joanne and family.
