JoEllen I. Kenney, 72, of Rock Island passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Moline.

Private graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made in care of QC Paws. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Jo Ellen was born on November 29, 1949 in Rock Island, a daughter of Lyle Sr. and Mary Ann (Schepers) Harris. She married Emery Kenney and he preceded her in death in 1996. She worked as a janitor for KJB before retiring.

Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings, Louise Farrell, Sue Harris, Christine Morales, Mary Lynn VanBruwaene, and Lyle Harris Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Cindy.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and niece, Patty Rose.
