John C. DeLoose, 50, of Rock Island, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held soon at Steve's Old Time Tap, Rock Island. John was born on March 18, 1972, in Moline, a son of John M. and Sherry (Holmes) DeLoose. John was a welder at McLaughlin Body, Moline for many years. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his daughter, Sherry. John's other enjoyments were spending time with his family and friends, the outdoors, and smoking meat.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherry DeLoose, Alpha; brother, Mike (Christine) DeLoose, Viola; nieces, Makayla and Quinn; and a nephew, Kian.

John was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
