John A. Fleming Jr., 54, of Davenport, passed away Saturday October 6, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from Monday from 4-7PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to the Fleming children.

John was born on May 11, 1964 in Rock Island, the son of John A. Fleming Sr. and Eanner Miller. He was employed as a supervisor at Kraft Oscar Meyer Foods, Davenport, for almost 30 years.

John loved spending time with his grandchildren, was an avid sports fan, loyal Chicago Bears fan. He also enjoyed coaching youth basketball, caring for his cars and was always there to encourage his family and friends in their endeavors.

Survivors include his children, Nick Fleming, Davenport, Nichole Fleming, Rock Island, Tyler Fleming, Davenport; grandchildren, Malania, Nick Jr. and Mela; father, John Fleming Sr.; mother, Eanner Stit; siblings, Trellous Fleming, Valerie McCoy, Dolly (Thomas) Blake, Krystal Fleming, Shaun Fleming and a host of extended family.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Gwen.
