John A. "Jack" Miller, 82, of Taylor Ridge, passed away Saturday July 17, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be 9:00am Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Illinois JDRF.

John was born on July 8, 1939 in Moline, the son of Orville and Lillis (Muhleman) Miller. He married Judith Baugher on April 27, 1993.

He had been the owner operator of Miller Heating.

He loved spending time with family, his Indian Motorcycles, working on Minneapolis Moline Tractors and attending his grandchildren's sports events.

Survivors include his wife, Judith; children, Bruce Miller, Prescott, AZ, Terry (Kathy) Miller, Freeport, Sue (Tony) Muhlenburg, Aledo, Ronald (Jennifer) Durham, Davenport, Melissa Varchola (Mike Richardson), Davenport, Chuck (Mandi) Durham, Edgington, 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandsons and brother, Dean Miller (Roxie Lucas), Reynolds.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother in law, Verlee (Ronald) Jones.
