John R. Mueller, 77, of Rock Island, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Services for Mr. Mueller will be 10:30 am, Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

John was born on August 30, 1941 in Moline, a son of Robert and Eileen O`Brien Mueller. He married Allanette Downing on September 6, 1964 in Moline. John had been the store manager at Younkers, Davenport for 25 years before his retirement. Mr. Mueller later worked at Casual Male Men's Store, Davenport and Zeglin's Home TV and Appliance, Davenport and Moline. John was a member of Christ Church, Moline.

Survivors include his wife, Allanette; children, Timothy Mueller, Rock Island, Lisa Mueller, Rock Island and Scott (Nicole) Mueller, Davenport; grandchildren, Darian Franklin, Denison Franklin, Drake Franklin, Drew Franklin, Delanie Franklin, Cody Mueller and his Fiance`, (Cheyanne Hart) and Victoria Franks; a great grandson, Landon Franks.
