John H. Rumburg, 63, of Milan, died Thursday, October 3, 2024 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, Rock Island.  Per his wishes, he donated his body to the University of Iowa Deeded Body Program for science.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, is assisting the family.

John was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on March 19, 1961, a son of Robert A. and Josephine Tomlin Rumburg.

He worked at Pepsi-cola, currently known as WP Beverages for many years.

John was an adventurous man who enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and watching and betting on football games.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Michele Rumburg and Molly (Jacob) McKee, both of Rock Island; grandchildren, Malayah Rumburg and Tyson Warden, Jr.; and brother, Jim Rumburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Barbara DeVoss and brother, Jeff Rumburg.
