Jon D. Kirkpatrick, 52, of Milan, passed suddenly on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his home. A memorial visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

Jon was born on April 5, 1968 in Moline, a son of Lonny and Margaret (Simoens) Kirkpatrick. He married Lori Waddell in April of 1995. He later married Dawn Smith on May 5, 2019 in North Liberty, Iowa. Jon was a HVAC technician for A1 Morris Heating and Cooling, Davenport. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, camping and spending time with his family and friends. Jon was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn; mother, Margaret Burrows, Silvis; children, Amanda Knorr, Ottsville, PA, Dustin (Ali) Kirkpatrick, Orion, Cody Kirkpatrick (Amanda Krider), New Windsor, Shaunee Kirkpatrick, Silvis, Hannah Kirkpatrick, Milan; several  grandchildren; brother, Scott (Jenni) Kirkpatrick, Coal Valley.
