Joyce A. Carroll, 76, of Rock Island, passed away December 25, 2016 at Heartland Healthcare Center, Moline.

Services to be held at a later date.

Joyce was born on October 10, 1940 in Moline, the daughter of Fred and Margaret (Steene) Eberhardt.  She worked as a switchboard operator at Trinity Hospital.

Joyce is survived by her son, Rick Melton; grandchildren, Holly and Scott Melton; and sister, Lois McCarthy.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
