Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 5, 2014 at WheelanPressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Avenue Rock Island, IL. Pastor Mark Frazee will be officiating her service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery in Hot Springs, AR. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Friendship Manor in her memory.

Juanita was born September 7, 1921, in North Adams, MI, the daughter of Herbert and Mabel (Perkins) Blanchard. She married Donald A. Harmon in September of 1941 in Wauseon County, OH. Juanita worked as a homemaker, and previously worked at Peterson-Von Maur in Davenport as a photographer.

She enjoyed golfing, oil painting, dancing, and was active in the various communities where she lived.

She will be remembered by her two sons Gregory (Linda) Harmon of Rock Island, IL and Gary Harmon of Trinidad, CO; her grandson Scott Harmon of Rock Island, IL; her brother Ray (Jan) Benn Jr. of Addison, MI; and her sister-in-law Rose (Don) Harmon-Callicott of Hot Springs, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Andrew Blanchard, Norbert Blanchard; and sister Eileen-Blanchard Bates.
