Judith I. Harris, 69 of Oquawka, Ill., died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014 at her home.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. There is no visitation. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan is assisting the family.

Judith I. Boehler was born May 11, 1945 in Moline, a daughter of Harry Boehler and Beverly Pearson Boehler. She married Aaron D. Harris on Feb. 28, 1969 in Moline. He died June 21, 2013.

Judy loved animals, especially her horses and cats.

She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Lynn Boinski, Oquawka; son, Anson Clark Holmes (Brigitte Begley), Englewood, Colo.; grandchildren, Esteban Monreal, Trenton Bennett, Isobel Holmes and Oskar Holmes; brothers, James (Jean) Pepping, Milan, Joseph (Vicki) Pepping, Oquawka, Mary Ann (Brad) Smith, Madison, Wis., and Theresa Foster, Moline. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Aaron.
