Judith A. Lavell, 77, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at her home.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2026, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030-7th Avenue, Rock Island with visitation 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. A memorial fund will be established.

Judy was born August 19, 1949, in Moline, the daughter of Norman and Mary (Hourigan) Spiegel. She married James E. Lavell on April 20, 1974, in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2015.

Judy retired from Genesis Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist. She enjoyed golfing, going to the beach and hanging out and having a good drink with her friends.

Survivors include her sons, Trent Lavell, Rock Island, Luke Lavell, Rock Island and Doug (Pamela) Lavell, Chicago; grandchildren, Sydney and Colton Lavell; siblings, Janet (Marshall), Joan (Stew), Jerry (Deanna) Jeff (Penny) and Jane (the late Buck). She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John.
