Julius R. Leffler Sr., 75, of Aledo, formerly of Milan, passed away Saturday August 9, 2014 at Brookstone Senior Living, Aledo.

Services will be 11:00am Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan, with visitation from 10:00am to service time. Burial will follow in New Windsor Cemetery. Memorials may be left to ARC of Rock Island County.

Julius was born on December 21, 1938 in Warsaw, IL, the son of Lawrence and Goldie (Crabtree) Leffler.

J.R. Leffler had been the owner of Lakeside Auto Parts, Milan and previously worked for Schwartz Lumber Co.

He enjoyed racing cars when he was younger and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Julius R. Leffler Jr., Randy L. Leffler, James L. Leffler, Edward E. Leffler, William A. Leffler, Rodney E. Leffler, Pamela S. Waugaman; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Art; sisters, Dolly and Gladys.

He was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, a brother and a sister.
