Justin W. Neil, 32, of Rock Island passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at home.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Memorials may be made in care of the family to help with expenses. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Justin was born on October 17, 1990 in Fresno, California, a son of Ronald and Dana Neil. He married Elizabeth Woolems on October 16, 2020 in Rock Island.

He enjoyed working on and fixing electronics for others. He was an avid Colts fan. Justin truly enjoyed being a part of Special Olympics for the disabled. He was always willing to help others when needed, including strangers, and continually put others' needs before his own. Justin was there when he knew he was needed and had a heart of gold. He greatest joy came from spending time with his friends and family, especially the love of his life, Elizabeth. He supported his wife through everything she did and always made it a priority to spend quality time with her. Elizabeth truly enjoyed Justin's company and had an amazing 2 years of marriage with him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Elizabeth; parents, Ronald (Dana) Neil and Roger (Joyce) Haggart; siblings, Christopher (Keri) Neil and Timothy (Erica) Haggart; and special friend, Beverly Overturf.
