JW Johnson, 80, Milan, IL passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at his home. Interment with military honors took place at Rock Island National Cemetery On February 6, 2024.

JW was born on April 25, 1943 to William and Zinda Leigh (Robertson) Johnson in Trenton, MO. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He was stationed in San Diego, CA and was honorably discharged on December 13, 1961.

JW made his home in Milan and enjoyed his daily bus trips to Maid Rite for coffee.

He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and family members.

He was preceded in death by parents; and his siblings, Helen Runnels, Mildred Spade, Arthur Johnson, Frosty Johnson, Cub Johnson, Gene Johnson, Donna Boston, and Beulah Lame.
