Karen Campbell, 69, Milan, IL passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, IL. There will be a memorial service at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan with a visitation one hour prior. Memorials preferred to the family.

Karen was born on May 3, 1953 to Marion and Lois (Haack) Moldenschart in Clinton, IA. She grew up in Rock Island and graduated from Rock Island High School. After graduation, she married Steven Miller Sr. and they had two sons.

She was later united in marriage to William Campbell and the family moved to Florida. After his passing, Karen returned to the Quad Cities to be near family.

Karen was a clerk at several grocery stores and then she worked at McDonald's for many years until her retirement. She was a dedicated employee and hard worker.

Karen was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Island. She was known for having a heart of gold and helped raise her siblings while her mom was battling cancer.

She is survived by her children, Steven and Jayson Miller; siblings, Joan (Russell Kraklio) Arbogast, Gary Unger, and Sherri Ehlers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Connie Schnell.
