Karen Sue Parry, 73, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday March 31, 2020 at Allure Nursing Home of Geneseo. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Faith Family Church, 12811 US-150, Orion, IL 61273.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30am Sunday August 9, 2020 at Faith Family Church,12811 US-150, Orion, IL. Friends are welcome to gather from 9:30am to service time at church. In accordance with public gathering restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a mask and observe social distancing.

Karen was born on October 19, 1946 in Moline, the daughter of Maynard and Ruth (Whitlock) Peterson.

She retired from Citizens Bank, New Hampshire as a banker. Karen had lived in New Hampshire for over 40 years before returning to the Quad Cities in 2016.

Karen was a member of Faith Family Church in Orion, IL. She enjoyed bowling with friends, knitting, crocheting, and

of course, shopping.

Survivors include her son, Chris and daughter in law, Kellie Parry, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Brendan and Allison; step grandchildren, Alyssa and Aidan; and sister, Bonnie Peterson, Rock Island.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
