Karl Alexander

Karl S. Alexander, 66, of Rock Island, passed away peacefully Monday March 23, 2026 at his home.

A Gathering to Celebrate his life will be held at a later date in the Rock Island Moose Lodge 190, 4410 9th St, Rock Island, IL 61201. 

Karl was born on March 19, 1960 in Rock Island the son of Charles and Verlee (Ludwig) Alexander.

He was a graduate of Rockridge High School. He married Edna I. (Jenkins) Wales June 19, 2003. They later divorced.

Karl had been employed as a cook with Friendship Manor for several years until his retirement.

He was a member of the Rock Island Moose Lodge. Karl was a avid pool player and Dallas Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed watching movies, collecting Native American Art, and figurines of Eagles and Wolves.

He is survived by his siblings, Kevin (Peggy) Alexander, Taylor Ridge; Kurt (Heather) Alexander, Bettendorf; Kim Fosler, Chicago, Bob (Linda) French, Eric (Erica) Alexander; step mother, Connie Alexander; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
