Karl D. Iverson, 71, of Milan, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Karl was born on October 14, 1953, in Rock Island, IL, a son of Lyle and Nellie (Johnson) Iverson. He went on to serve in the United States Navy, before later becoming a welder at John Deere.

Karl's hobbies included coin collecting, fishing, traveling, and collecting coca cola products.

Those left to cherish Karl's memory include his daughters, Christine Iverson (Nathan Neaveill), Milan, and Kari (Nate) Howard, Moline; grandchildren, Dakota, Jordan, Rayne, and Jaydan; siblings, Carol Chandler and Jon Iverson; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Rich Murphy, California, and Robert Heston, Florida; and favorite kitty, Midnight.

Karl was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine; parents; sisters, Connie Keto and Kathie Nitz; and special dog, Maggie.
