Karla J. Pauli, 53, of Moline, passed away Tuesday March 22, 2016 at UnityPoint, Trinity- Moline.

A memorial gathering and celebration of her life will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 25th, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 - 7th Ave., Rock Island. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family to  be designated later.

Karla was born September 17,  1962 in Geneseo, IL. She graduated from Moline High School in 1980. Karla and Lloyd T. Pauli were married on May 21, 1988 in Moline.

She loved working with animals. Karla was a groomer for Yore Pets Barber in Moline. Previously she had worked in the Canteen at Alcoa.

She loved caring for her dogs, and agility training them.

Surviving are her husband, Lloyd, of Moline; sisters and brothers, Paula Klauer, Geneseo, Steve Lewis, Lansing, Mich., Rick Lewis, Prophetstown, Ill., and Crystal (Shawn) Mulica, Rock Island; numerous nieces and nephews, too include her niece whom she regarded as a "sister", Mychele (Steven) Mack, Viola, Ill., stepfather, Chester Wangeline, Moline; stepmother, Marlene Lewis, Maysville, Iowa; father-in-law and stepmother-in-law, Lloyd and Joann Pauli, Jr., Princeton, Iowa; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Keith Pauli, Bettendorf, Duane Pauli, Des Moines, Iowa, Curt Pauli, Phoenix, Ariz., Steve Pauli, St. Cloud, Minn., and Theresa (Tim) Even, Des Moines; and special friends, Otis and Vera Boyd, Davenport.

Karla was preceded in death by two children in infancy, Paula and Lloyd, Jr., her mother, Janet Wangeline, and mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Pauli.
