Karol A. Jackson, 70, of Moline, passed away Friday December 21, 2018 at UPH Trinity, Rock Island.

Graveside services will be 12:00pm, Friday December 28, 2018 at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan. Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Karol was born on October 27, 1948 in Rock Island, the daughter of Robert A. and Shirley (DeVrieze) Jackson. She was employed at Target, Moline the last 10 years, previously she worked at Reynolds Manufacturing, Milan, as a machinist and Caseys Store, Milan, as a cook.

Karol enjoyed Nascar, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and was a huge fan of her nieces and nephews. She also was an avid softball player after high school, playing for the Quad City Red Birds.

Survivors include her brothers, Danny (Cheryl) Jackson, Gary Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews; a large extended family and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert A. and Shirley Jackson; brother, Robert E. Jackson; sisters in law, Janet and Elinor.
