Katherine M. Osborn, 94, of Reynolds, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Silver Cross at Friendship Manor, Rock Island. Services for Mrs. Osborn will be 11 am, Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Reynolds. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9 am to 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Taylor Ridge United Methodist Church.

Katherine was born on February 7, 1928, in Taylor Ridge, a daughter of Everett and Lucy (Zeitler) Hofer. She married Benjamin Osborn on August 8, 1948, in Taylor Ridge. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2010. Katherine was a homemaker. She also farmed together with her husband. Katherine was a member of Taylor Ridge United Methodist Church and the Taylor Ridge United Methodist Women. She enjoyed playing cards, golfing, bowling, and camping.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

Katherine was preceded in death by her husband; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and May Hofer, and Virgil and Katie Hofer; a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Willard Burton; and nieces, Dorothy and Karen.
