Kathy A. Otts, 65, of Milan, passed away Friday September 4, 2015 at Unity Point- Trinity, Rock Island.
A Memorial Celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Memorials may be made to the family.
Kathy was born January 27, 1950 in Tilden, Neb., a daughter of Phillip and Wanda (Howard) Gillespie. She graduated from Geneseo High School.
In earlier years, Kathy was a forklift operator for John Deere; then worked at the Silvis Post Office; and most recently was a secretary at Birdsell Chiropractic, Moline.
Kathy was an avid reader, enjoyed crafts and watching westerns on television.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Martin King, Taylor Ridge; grandchildren, Katie and Hayden King; brothers and sisters (and spouses), Kelly Gillespie, Galesburg, LuAnn Cobert, Silvis, Larry (Mary) Gillespie, Geneseo, Joan (Mark) Neels, Silvis, and Jean (Chris) DeMink, Sherrard; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
